Civil Unrest & Disruption

This is a broad topic that is fully front and center in our national media and major cities as of late.  It is unfortunate that many civilians and political "leaders" now condone destructive behavior as part of "positive change movements".  Politics aside, what matters most is that you are able to protect yourself, family and personal property against any harm that results from this type of mayhem.

The best play, if you are not at your home, would be to leave the area of disturbance immediately.  If you are at home, you should shelter as low-keyed as possible (heard of the term "gray man"?).  If you are in the city or suburban environment it is advisable to remove any signs or flags that identify your political or support that would give rioters an inclination to target you.  There is time for pride after the mayhem passes!  This is about survival.  When you are outnumbered - you want to lay low if you can.

The BEST preparations you can make in these changing times are the following (If possible):

1. MOVE your residence farther from major cities and to rural areas - it is advisable.  The more remote - the better.

2. LAND.  The more land you have, the better.  This allows for you to grow food, have a well (or creek), and build caches of wood, food, water, etc.

3. STOCK up on food, water, essentials - even if you cannot MOVE farther out.

4. DEFEND yourself & prepare a plan for DETERRING mobs - before you have to take action to physically defend.

Remember, stay on the down low.  If you can park your cars in the garage or behind a gate - do it.  Try to be as inconspicuous as possible with your home.  If you are in an apartment - have all your most important items ready to go at the first sign of mayhem and leave.  Remember, even the Mayor of Portland, Oregon (Ted Wheeler in 2020) had an angry mob show up at his complex and try to set fire to it!  Sadly, he moved out of his own place and still supported the mob who attempted it.

We have a comprehensive list of items and products we buy and use ourselves for deterence, defense, and stock.

Will continue to add more as we develop....
